Psychology of Clutter – Traditionally, our perception of organization tends to revolve around physical spaces like kitchens and closets. However, we often overlook the importance of organizing the mind itself. In reality, the human brain is responsible for organizing our thoughts, actions, and emotions—a field known as Brain Science.

The process of organization begins within the brain, making it crucial to grasp fundamental concepts related to how our brains function. In this course, you will explore these concepts. By doing so, you will gain a deeper comprehension of your client’s mindset and how it influences their approach to organization and clutter.

In this course, you will have the opportunity to delve into the factors behind clutter accumulation, examine the impact of clutter, explore different types of clutter, and gain a comprehensive understanding of these concepts and more.

We will explore the laundry room, linen closet, primary bedroom, closet, children’s room, bathroom, home office, basement & garage and more. Throughout the discussion of each room, we will cover various aspects including where to initiate the organization process, how to maximize the use of multi-purpose items already present in each space for organizing purposes, identify specific items that can aid in organization, outline logical steps to effectively organize the room, and additional relevant information.

Eco-Friendly Organizing – Eco-friendly Professional Organizing adopts the core principles of traditional professional organizing, with a focus on the environmental impact of each solution. Every choice is guided by environmental consciousness, encompassing considerations related to organizing methods, recycling and disposal options, home renovations, and the acquisition of new items during decluttering and organizing processes.
